At Wakuwaku Souvenirs Japan, we want every purchase to bring you a little piece of Japan to enjoy at home. Here are answers to questions we often get from our customers.

📦 Shipping Information

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, we only ship within the United States. We hope to expand internationally in the future so more people can enjoy our curated collection of Japan-inspired items.

How long will my order take to arrive?

  • WakuWaku Originals: shipped from our US warehouse, usually arrive within 4–10 business days.

  • Other items: shipped either from our US warehouse or directly from China to help keep costs low. These items typically take 10–15 business days to reach you.

Please allow a little extra time for processing and delivery. Because some items travel a long way, we cannot guarantee arrival by a specific date. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

How much is shipping?

For WakuWaku Originals, shipping fees vary based on the weight of your order and your delivery address. The final cost will be calculated at checkout before you complete your purchase.

For all other items, we are happy to offer free shipping within the United States.

Will I have to pay customs or duties?

International orders may be subject to customs fees or import duties, which are the responsibility of the customer. Please check with your local customs office if you’re unsure.


🔄 Returns & Exchanges

We hope you love your WakuWaku Souvenir Japan items! But if you’re not 100% satisfied, here’s what you need to know about returns and refunds.

Can I return an item?

Yes! If you’re not 100% satisfied, you can return your WakuWaku Souvenir Japan items within 15 days of the delivery date using the latest return label. Returns sent outside this window or without the latest label may not be received or inspected, and a refund cannot be guaranteed.

What condition should items be in for a return?

Items must be returned in the same condition you received them:

  • Unused
  • Undamaged
  • Complete with all parts/accessories

Items damaged due to improper packaging during return shipping may result in a reduced refund.

Who pays for return shipping?

  • Customers are responsible for paying return shipping upfront.
  • If the item arrived damaged or incorrect, you may be eligible for a full refund, including return shipping, depending on our approval. 
  • Please keep the receipt and shipping label, and provide the tracking number along with a copy of the receipt when sending your return.

When will I receive a refund?

  • Refunds are processed after we receive and inspect your returned items. 
  • If items are not returned or fail inspection, the original payment method may still be charged.
  • Refunds can take 3–14 business days (sometimes up to 20 days) depending on your financial institution.

Can I get store credit instead of a refund?

Yes! You can choose store credit instead of a refund. Store credits never expire and can be used anytime.

Can I exchange an item for a different one?

Currently, we only offer refunds. To get a different item, please place a new order.

How do I start a return?

Please contact us at hello@wakuwaku-japan.com with your order number and reason for return. We will provide you with instructions.

Special Note – WakuWaku Original Products

  • Returns and exchanges are not supported if you simply change your mind.

  • If your WakuWaku original product is damaged, contact us within 15 days of delivery, and we will offer a refund.

  • No need to return the damaged product—simply reach out to us for assistance.

What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept PayPal and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). We are working on adding more payment options for your convenience.

Is my payment secure?
Yes. All transactions are processed through secure, encrypted payment gateways to keep your information safe.


🛍 Orders & Tracking

How can I track my order?
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number.

Can I change or cancel my order?
If you need to make changes or cancel, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order. After that, we may not be able to modify it as it could already be in processing.
